2007 – 2007:            ON-SITE SITE MANAGER, LL Bean

Vertis Communications, Portland, ME - 2 Million in Sales

  • The LL Bean location was being closed at the end of 2007. The assignment was to assure a smooth transition while maintaining high standards, deadlines, and accurate billing for the work in progress
  • Managed a team of graphic art professionals: Production Manager, Production Artists, Photographers, Scanners, Color Operators, Customer Service, Administrative, and Billing Staff
  • Worked directly with the client’s senior management team to transition all digital assets, proofs, and property back at the end of the contract.
  • Six Sigma Certified – Champion
  • Provided load-leveling support for other locations while maintaining requirements and deadlines
  • Trained the staff with new application information so they were more marketable
  • Created action plans to transition out of this location: electric, data, equipment, and transportation

  • Managed a large team of professionals: Studio Manager, Production Artists, Photographers, Scanners, Color Operators, Customer Service, Administration, and Billing Staff
  • Converted the photo studio from film to digital. Trained and supported photographers to understand and used conversion profiles correctly
